Thrust cylindrical roller bearings consist of a shaft washer, housing washer, cylindrical rollers, and cage. Line contact between rollers and housing washer enables extremely high unidirectional axial load capacity with high axial rigidity.
Separable bearing type — shaft washer, housing washer, and roller-cage assembly can be installed separately. Cylindrical rollers roll on the raceway surfaces of shaft and housing washers. Line contact between rollers and raceway surfaces enables the bearing to carry extremely large axial loads and impact loads.
Due to line contact between rollers and raceways, provides higher axial load capacity and rigidity compared to thrust ball bearings, with minimal axial space requirement. Single-direction thrust cylindrical roller bearings can only bear unidirectional axial loads. Limiting speed lower than thrust ball bearings, suitable for low-speed heavy-load applications.
Widely used in petroleum machinery, rolling mills, hydraulic turbine generator sets, vertical motors, marine propellers, cranes, extruders, injection molding machines, and other heavy equipment requiring large axial force bearing.
