Domestic Substitution Solution for Mining Crusher Bearings

Project Background

The customer is a major domestic mining group. The cone crushers and jaw crushers across several of its mining areas had long used imported-brand bearings, which involved high procurement costs, long delivery cycles (typically 8-12 weeks), and significant inventory pressure.

Mining crusher

Operating Conditions

  • Environmental conditions: High dust, strong vibration, intermittent heavy impact
  • Load type: Large radial load + axial force
  • Speed range: 150-400rpm
  • Continuous operating time: 18-20 hours per day

Substitution Solution

Selection Matching: Based on the parameters of the original bearings, spherical roller bearings and tapered roller bearings of the same specifications were selected as replacements.

Performance Validation: Samples were provided for trial operation after installation, accumulating over 3,000 hours of operation without anomalies.

Sealing Upgrade: The sealing structure design was optimized to suit the high-dust mining environment.

Technical Service: Technical personnel were dispatched on-site to guide installation and commissioning.

Customer Benefits

  • Procurement costs reduced by more than 30%
  • Supply cycle shortened from 8-12 weeks to 3-4 weeks
  • Bearing service life reached the same level as imported products
  • A safety stock and rapid-response mechanism was established
